have a remanif. set of 487 sb heads. question when these were rebuilt I know they weregiven a clean up milling on the deck. these heads are 70-71 LT175cc from the factory .back in the day we would mill the heads to up compression. since I do not know how much was removed from these heads IS theresome way to find out how much was milled off ---no way do I have the money to cc the chambers to see what theycc.out tonow. I it would be better use that kind on money to mill them. so come on guy info. is what I need -there has to be a way to find out .
With the pistons I have, I between8.9-1 and 9.2-1. would like to get to 9.45-9.55-1 with a cam lift of .470-.480" and Holly S.A. 670cfm carb.
