Default Pulse plugs?

http://www.pulstarplug.com/

Has anyone ever heard of/had any experience with these or anything of the sort at all? The site claims the things increase fuel efficiency, economy, AND horsepower- but I'm wary of it since nobody seems to have heard of it and I've yet to hear any outside claims of how well they'd do and how they'd compare to say, a much cheaper Bosch platinum spark plug.

they appear to work like a multispark ignition which is supposed to give you better burn. whether they actually do this though i dont know.... but kinda doubt

[&:] can we say snake oil kids most items like this that claim HP increases etc. and have yet to go mainstream are not mainstream for a reason!! mostly they are expensive gimmicks that dont really work. wouldnt you think that an auto manufacturer or the aftermarket performance world would be ablaze with an item like this if it worked?? dont waste your money. pay attention to that which you already have (clean, tuned) etc and use good old reliable parts as needed kurt

just took a peek at that nifty web site and wow how many people have they suckered??? $25 bucks a plug??? who are they kidding most of us for most purposes might pay that for a whole set and if we did some simple math for most of us v8 hot rodders thats $200. now im not the smartest individual in the world and gas prices are getting ridiculous but thats still quite a few gallons in my book. wow the spark alone can bring such a mileage increase as to justify this kind of expense?? kurt

For awhile I was thinking, hey- this would be pretty damn cool to go after. Buuut I talked to a few people, mentioned them to people who should damn well better know what they're doing around cars... I even went back to the Camaro & Firebird dealership I got my car at and asked the guy who runs it.

Not one person has ever heard of them. 'tis a shame if they really do all they say but with that kind of complete lack of reputation, I think I'd be smarter to go after a set of Bosch platinum plugs instead, eh?

Who knows, maybe I can sucker my mom into buying a set for her crappy little SUV to find out for sure if they do anything

Get the same effect by using a bigger spark gap. Just don't overdue or you will get misfires.
