Schrader Valve
A type of valve fitting that opens when depressed. Schrader valves are used in tire valve stems, on air conditioning hoses, and on the fuel rails of many fuel injection systems. This valve is on the fuel rail feeding the fuel injectors.

You need to invest $20 on a repair manual for you car. It will answer many of your questions.

I bought the haynes manual and will probably also buy the Chiltons. Fortunately, I've been a gear head for years and years but it's of great help to know nuances of every vehicle, service manuals provide that information. The haynes is like crib notes for a book. Chiltons tend to be more in depth which is better for newbs. Me, I'll end up with both as one augments the other but I'd go Chiltons as my first if i were you. Amazon, any book store or parts store can order it for you.

FWIW, you have no clue how fortunate you are to have forums like this with tons of help and information. Back when I was a youngun (here we go again) there weren't Chiltons manuals for every vehicle and if we got a manual, it was the factory manual from a dealer and they were damn expensive. Also, the aftermarket for parts was almost non existant compared to today's choices and parts actually fit.
