When i bought my car the guy told me he had repainted it 2 years ago....well he did a really crappy job,and he didnt use any clear! How can i make my paint look shiny,and last more thna two weeks....i just used mcguires color x and it makes my paint look really good but it only last two weeks. what can i do short of getting my who ecar repainted?

 

What is the color x? Is it a polish or wax? The thing to do is polish it to bring back the depth and then wax it to seal it. I got one of the wax machines so it spreads the polish and was very well and takes away a lot of the elbow grease needed and makes the job go quicker. The only bad part is it slings the material. Not bad like a buffer because it is an orbital polisher.
