Default Is my A/C cold enough?

Now that it is hot down here in N.O. I feel my A/C in my 95 V-6 Camaro is not producing as it should as compared to my 2003 Ford truck. With that said I hooked up my A/C hose with gauge and helpful color band just to find out I'm at the top of the GOOD pressure with windows down and on Max with full fan. For a sanity check I hooked it up to my truck and seen about the same reading. Now I do know that the gauge works because I have added Freon R-134A to another truck with good results.

Since my pressure is good, could I have a screen blocked or heaven forbid a clogged orifice? I have replaced these on other cars, but do not know where they are on this car if they are the problem.

Any thoughts?

Kevin

Has the car sat out for a while without being used? Or do you notice any smell coming from the AC? Same thing happened to my buddys jeep in high school so we took it to the auto shop and ended up pulling out all kinds of straw and crap like that...friggin mouse found a nice cool place to chill...but yeah, after we did that it blew ice cold.

We bought it last Novebmer and have ran the A/C a bit during the winter. Now it gets driven about twice a week. I do not smell any thing either. Where did you pull the straw from?
