msd ignition

This might be a stupid question but o well. For a carbed motor, if i wanted an MSD ignition, do i need the MSD distributor also?

better idea. buy the MSD distributor and add an igntion box later. the MSD Pro Billet Distributor works with or without an igntion box and is a a fine upgrade over stock. Sick

The distributor gives great spark, and the magnetic pickup never has to be adjusted like a points style, makes it easy to live with

That is a better idea, i couldalso use to save some cash with all the other crap i need for this engine.
