Default Looking for advice on an engine problem (3.8 1997)

I recently bought my car, which I ****in love, and it's in good shape all around, but I've had this problem:

One day I was driving behind this slow car and the engine just stopped. So I muscled the steering over to the side of the road. Looked at it, tried to restart it. It just turned and turned, wouldn't start. Wiggled a few wires and plugs. It started fine. It drove fine then.
Then one day quite a bit later it didn't start. So I wiggled some wires and it did. It happened a couple times, weeks apart. I thought I found the wire, because I wiggled them in turn and tried it. But then the next time, that wire didn't work. After messing with them each and trying it, I figured it was a different wire, which I wiggled and it started right away. (In the picture, it's pointed at with the blue arrow.) Then a few days ago, it died a couple times running, just like it had before, and didn't start a few times. Sometimes it did, sometimes not. And it seems like it is actually this wire pointed to with the blue, tho maybe it's getting cracked or broken or something, cause it does start, or sometimes almost start, after adjusting it. When the car runs, it's absolutely smooth.
I'm wondering if I just killed the wires wiggling them, or is it not the wires at all, and it was just time, and not the wiggling, that started it, like it's a fuel problem like filter or pump. Does anyone know about this issue?

Also, anyone have a link to the engine diagram?

These wires in the back of the engine come out of a tube of many. Can I put in new wires on this myself? Even if I take it in, I'd like to know even what I'm talking about.

Thanks anyone who reads or helps.

Get the car running. Then wiggle wires to stop it. There is your wire? Or is this coincidence? Got an opti spark going out?
