A garden hose is another way, but I figured with high pressure the water will shoot in closer to the source of the leak instead of dribble in and run. Or if you have a pressure washer, that's another way.
And on second thought, bring an umbrella too!

Thx guys this is so helpful hpefully I can get it fixed soon it rained bad here last night and my back floorboard was a pond
