Default oil leakage!help!

just like the thread says, i have an oil leakage problem, i dont know the specific part(not extremely auto-savvy)
i got under the car and theres oil coming from a valve or sensor, not sure,
the part where its leaking is stemming from the side of where the oil filter is situated. need to know what the part is called cuz im sure that thats the problem, the o-ring inside has started protruding outward and i have oil everywhere, please somebody help me out or let me know if there are any quick fixes, eg.. can i tighten that part or will i need a new one?
so. recap, whats the part called? quick fixes? etc..
