is anybody a fan of those black tail light cover things for fbody camaros and does anybody have them and are there any cons too them

 

man dont waste your money on them honestly...just smoke you taillights with VHT nite-shade it will cost alot less and itll look better than a clip on.

About 10 years ago I thought they were cool, but now they just seem silly to me.

 

Silly to me as well. The point of lights are to be seen, not darkened to the point the light doesn't show through. I know in places like Albuquerque when I went up, that town is so dark if someone had tinted tailights in front of you, you wouldn't have seen them brake anyways.

 

i currently have the blackouts that are the film and not plastic clip on. Was considering getting the plastic but does it really make it that hard to see the tail lights?

 

Yes and it looks like crap

 

i never seen them im person but i rember seeing a white camaro with like 5% black tint and black tail lights and i thought it looked good. I don't think black tail lights are pratical but it did look good on this car.
