Default Intake

I bought a cold air intake from chormeintakes and it does not fit. I dont reccomend anyone buy their product. I was also wondering if anyone knows of a good intake that fits and also looks good. thanks

Most cold airinduction systems require some modifications to fit. Not a direct bolt in item.

yeah not much we can do with the information provided. if you say it doesn't fit, contact them and tell them your problem. maybe they will reimburse you or maybe the part was boxed wrong and they will send you a replacement

no they dont, the only modification i had to do is put whole to screw it down to the intake housing thats it

I agree with Alih, my intake bolted right up. I made some modifications so I could change the filter from the top instead of the bottom, but that wasn't really necessary.

Yeah i have a 94 z28 could i possibly see pictures for anyones intakes they have on there car?

As usual you get what you pay for. A good name brand such as K&N, SLP, Moroso, etc. will cost more, but will fit right out of the box, and actually make adifference in power. If you get a unit that needs to be modified, you may as well go to Lowes or Home Depot, buy a bunch of PVC fittings and flex pipes and make your own from scratch.

yeah the well known brands SHOULD bolt up without modification...after that its on the owner to modify it as he pleases
