I NEED SOME TRANNY HELP!!
its related to my geo tracker. i took the tranny off to replace the clutch. however, it got hung up when i was trying to get it off. i kicked it, which freed it, but then it rolled off the jack. now its sitting nearly upside down underneth the car. me, my dad, and the neighbor will try to flip it over and put it back onto the jack so i can finish my work. is there any tips you guys can give me on getting it back onto the jack?
also, there is a rubber hose that ran up behind the engine and goes to the tranny and transfer case. i believe it is a breather as fluid was comming out when it fell over. i dont know where this hooks in at. would it be safe to justput a filter on it and tuck it up on the firewall?

Use a transmission jack and a ratchet strap next time
As for the breather hose (manuall?) use the length of the hose from where it is on the tranny now and find where it went to. There may be a small capped valve that it hooked to. Look for a breather on the rear end. It may have the same type of valve

hmm, didnt think about the ratchet strap. the breather however, it goes up somewhere behind the engine, and i think its in the area below the distributor, the only spot my lil' hands cant reach
well, i got her all bolted back up and driving again after only 5 hours of work today. and the new clutch is a grabby ****, like 1/4 inch of pedel goes from nothing to driving
