My 94 LT1 auto came with one...

Haven't messed around with it that much but I will let you know...

Seems to be good for rev limiter, shift points, and max speed, gear changes, fan temps, etc nothing really advanced

[&:] i havent seen or experienced anything amazing with these units especially considering the cost. i think there's cheaper HP to be found under your hood. as for used, id be careful as i believe some are one time use only kurt

well i have one and there r some good advantages if u run auto trans, but i don't. so like has been said the can change ur fuel curve a lil, up ur rev limter, top speed, rear gear changes to keep the speedo right this includes tire size change, u will need a 160 thermostate, so u can change ur fans to run cooler but is is it worth the 350 for a new one NO in my thoughts but i got mine used... On that note if u do get one used bcareful cause they need to b programed back to stock or it will vin lock u out and u will have wasted ur money.. but what i can say is it does give u a small edge over another stock eng... but in all u need ever hp u can get. Also think about this if ur ever going to dyno tune ur car it will override the hypertech programer and u will have NO use for it..
