dont know if this is in the right spot, but.........

im thinking about new gears. the car is putting out alittle over 400hp and has 373 gears but i was thinking about 411 gears. what difference would that make and is it worth it?

 

The higher your gear ratio, the quicker you'll take off. So it'll make your quarter mile and short race times drop. The negatives are the higher gears you go, the lower your top speed is and the more gas you'll consume.

 

you will not like them on the high way, if all you want is 1/4 and spanking others in short runs then thats your best bet
