i currently have a 350 2 bolt in my 1982 z28..its running around 220 HP as is...i want to put a new camshaft, 1.6 rockers,pushrods,springs, intake, new carb, timing chain...i was wondering if anyone knows if the 2 bolt would be enough to handle all the power...it was estimated to be right around 300 HP when completed..thanks

 

300hp should be no problem. i would go to a 4 bolt if your going to be revving it to 7000rpm or using a lot of nitrous.

 

i would also look into a FBM if youre going to be pushing for big HP numbers...
