daytime running lights
has anyone else ever had a problem with the daytime running lamps being slightly....off.. i see a bunch of camaros on the road that have one brighter than the other and mine does that and i'd like to get it fixed if its something under like 50-100 bucks because its a bit tacky

Just replace the bulbs...if it's the foglights, then have fun with that one, the easiest way I've found to do that was pull the plastic cover from behind the front bumper under the car offand use a flashlight to see where the flip the lights are...I've heard of a few guys doing a bit of hacksawing and making an opening big enough to fit their hand in, I've got a jigsaw now, I'm doing that next time I have to change a foglight! Not sure where the daytime running lamps are, I don't have them on mine .

the bulbs have two filaments in them and act as both turn signal and d.r.l. the one that is dimmer is the driver's side, and i bet i have changed it out five or six times since i bought the car two or three years ago; the bulbs basically explode, they don't just blow, i was thinking i should maybe just replace the light and the wiring in it but i see it all over the place and was wondering if anyone else had had the same problem and found any remedy for it

Its the lense! I had the same exact problem. I changed the bulb and still had the same thing. So i went to the chevy dealership and got the lense for $20. I installed it myself and it wasnt easy. After 2 hours i wanted to give up. But it is in and looks great. Both sides are equaly bright.
