Default 2010 daytime running lights

I hope I am posting on the right section. I am trying to figure out how to turn off the automatic lights. I want to get an HID kit for my H13 lights but need to figure out the daytime running lights first.

Please help. Thanks

You can turn off the DRLs by turning the light switch **** to the left when the engine is on. The DRLs are controlled by the PCM and would probably need a costly reprogram to stop them from coming on again.

yeah i know about the ****, but i dont want the lights to come on everytime i turn on the car. I would assume that would be hard on the lights and/or the battery

that has to be dim as hell men you need to drop down to around 4500-5000K the higher the color temp the less light they put out
