Default daytime running lights

anyone know how to disconnect daytime running lights. i've got a 99 v6 and have tried disconnecting the mod. behind the radio but the turnsignals stopped working. the lights keep burning up my sockets and housing.

You got something weird going on there. Factory DRL use low voltage for the lights, 8V instead of 12V, so they should be able to stay lit indefinitely without any failures.

That is why the sockets are burning out, probably a bad DRL module or someone messed with the wiring.

ya i need a wire diag. if anyone has it for the running lights. and/or drl module?
please help

I don't know if it is the same in the camaro, but I just pulled the fuse out of my chevy pick up and it did the trick...
