Default Cylinder 5 Misfire

Codes said crank sensor and cylinder 5 misfire. replaced the crank sensor. still misfiring. replaced the plug and wire. still misfiring. ran a can of seafoam, still misfiring, but not as bad. it doesn't do it constantly, just enough to keep me irritated. anyone else got ideas?

Possible ignition coil. Swap the ignition coil with one of the other two and see if the miss moves to another cylinder. If so, then a bad ignition coil.

try a different wire or plug. if the coil is bad, you will have a misfire on the companion cylinder as it is a waste spark system. one bad coil=two misfires. if that doesnt fix it, you could try to replace the coil, but im 90% sure that isnt the issue. did you buy a quality set of wires? i made the mistake of buying the cheaper wire sets, and ive gone through 2 sets in less than 2 years, and i need a third set already. this time im going with msd

Hi, New guy. I was browsing the net for info on this particular matter and came across this. I literally just had the same thing happen to me. Did you ever find the problem and get it fixed completely? I'm about to replace my crank sensor as well.
