Default carburator issues

i was just wondering witch would be a better performance carb for my 355sbc. it is built for a 700-750cfm easy i was just wondering what kind to use some say the double pumper, street avenger or even the edelbrock performer. economy is not a big concern so any input would be appreicated

Holleys are pretty safe if You leave them alone. A Double pumper is going to give Yoy gas when You want it, the rest rely on the ennine vacuum for secondary blabes to open. Go from there.

I think that a vacuum secondary 750cfm holley single pumper will work great. I wouldn't go with the double pumper because thats more gas then you need.

if you body is stock weight i would stay away from the mechanical secondaries. vacuum secondaries are best for a heavy body. Sick

Is this a street racer or a track only racer....

are you running a rev limiter.....

street racer ... Edelbrock 1812 800 CFM... manual choke

track ... holley 800 sqaure bore.....since it's an auto, I'd run a vacum secondary, tuned right it'll do ya good,
