Can a3rd gen camaro beat a SRT-4?
So theres this kid that thinks he could own a camaro, I'm buying a camaro soon. I just want to know if I should back off or not. The camaro will be a 305 with 5 speed. Stock for now.

hes going to take ur lunch money if u buy a 305. if you get a 350 you will still get ur butt kicked, but at least you have the chance to mod and get him back. a 4th gen LT1's are pretty close to the skittles, with the edge to the srt4 the longer the race goes. also, with the way 3rd gens are going now you may be able to find an lt1 for about the same as a 3rd gen
i actually just had a kid in a silver skittle with black rims blow off at me about 15 min ago. had his buddies with him and im sure he was talkin crap about fbodies..... it was raining so i didnt get to embarass him [>:]

Not out of a 305. The 305 has the same stroke as a 350, but it has a much smaller bore. Get something that has a 350, the 305 is pretty lame as far as a motor goes, it was designed for smog, not power.

lol, any time you talk about changing displacement ur talking major mod. ur really better off going big right off the bat in this case
