I want to thank those who help me make my car beat a v8 mustang. The mustang had slicks , NOS . My car i have added slicks , headers , cams , flowmasters. Im planning on adding more stuff anyone have any recomendations.

 

I have one - don't pick on too many more V8 Mustangs, you might come across one that is running on all 8, has his NOS turned ON, and can actually drive

 

thats a fact. theres no replacement for displacement

 

well he did run with NOS he shot a 75 shot and by the way my v6 is not just a regular v6 . I have had three tune up modifications. With this i have made my car run as fast 12.8 . so yeah dont think there are many v6 that can do that with the money that i have spent. If i add the supercharger i know that i will beat the v8 camaros.

 

Please enlighten us to your "tune up modifications"... Ah, I forgot you were the guy with the "twin intakes" and about to buy a supercharger upgrade kit, that doesn't come with a supercharger, and wouldn't fit your car.

 

So your running slicks on a street car that has a V6 with just bolt ons and a cam? (well, a few cams nowapprently)

oh, and please enlighten me on how you got cams (as in more than one) into your pushrod V6. I am really instressted

 

And please, please, please post a detailed description of what you've done to the car in the V6 tech section - if you have a 12-second six-banger that you didn't spend a lot of money on (and aren't spraying) I want to know what you did so I can do it to mine.

 

3 tune ups, wow. I wanna see your 12.8 track slip also. I highly doubt you beat him if he sprayed too..

 

Stang I didn't say intakes I said filters as in to take out the one it has and put in two of the cylender ones and yes I only have a one cam stig. And the tune ups are computer wise they change how much horsepower is used in each gear so this is real good for the track. When the car was almost stock I ran 15.8. Then I added slicks and took off like .5 then I added the headers and flowmasters that took a second off. The cams took like .6 off and then I did the tune ups. Which I reccomend everyone to do if you just race at a stop. So yeah I did beat the gt mustang but it only had slicks and nos. And he used the the button that gives the car a push I'm sure stang knows what I'm talking about since they come stock with the car.

 

15.8 - .5 = 15.3
15.3 - .6 = 14.7
14.7 - 1 = 13.7

13.7 doesn't equal 12.8. There is no button on a Mustang that gives ita push. There is a traction control button, to turn it off.
