Default C-clip in posi/LSD stuck!!! Help!!!!

Hey guys, I'm tryin to pull the center section and I got the passenger side c-clip off no problem but the driver side won't come off? I beat the on the hub side to try and push it all the way in but it's just not enough. Any ideas? Oh! And the gear the axle is going thru move with it, like in and out so it won't allow the little bit of clearance I need. Thanks.

Ok PB blaster worked! The reason it was stuck is because the splines were twisted like a slight curve? How did that happen?

Sounds like you're saying the splines are twisted like a spiral? That's from the axles getting torqued hard, aka beating the crap outta the car!
Is yours a manual trans? Having a habit of dumping the clutch can contribute to beat up axles.

Yeah the splines on just the driver side axle was slightly twisted. I have the 98 v6 camaro with cai, 3000 stall converter, transgo-HD2 shift kit (a-4) on car adj. Panhard bar and 32mm front sway bar with poly bushing all the way around except for the rear lca.

I haven't seen a V6 twist a shaft before, but, it can certainly happen. Time for a bigger anvil.

if its a open rearend then the strong side would get all the abuse. im sure the 3000 stall helped.
