Building A Camaro

Building A Camaro
Hey everyone,
I'm thinking about building a Camaro from the ground up.
I'd be using a 1969 Camaro shell from here: http://www.dynacornclassicbodies.com/gm_models2.html
Nothing about this Camaro would be authentic.
I'm thinking about having about 430-480hp in the end, with decent suspension and brakes.
Just wondering if anyone has ever done this before and could give me some tips (what sites, brands, etc are good?), an estimate of how much it would cost, or how much time it would take.
Cheers.

Theres no way of telling how long or how much its going to take. If you have the money, it will save you alot of time. Sites like www.summitracing.com www.yearone.com www.jegs.com are extremely helpful. There are so many good brands but ones like Edelbrock, or Holley are good. It also depends on your preference with cars. If I was doing a 1969 Camaro and didnt care if it wasnt original then I would definately put an LS motor in it. LS1, LS2, or LS7 if you mean business. If not then at least put a big block in it. Anyway, take your time, dont do anything half-*** and good luck!
