Default Brakes Wont Bleed

Have a 69 SS...front disc brakes kept locking up. I replaced both front calipers (loaded) and attempted to bleed the brakes. The driver front would not bleed. I have since replaced the brake booster and master cylinder, however the brakes will still not bleed. Fluid will bleed from the master cylinder, so i know that the system is working to that point. Just too much air in the lines from the master cylinder to the calipers?

probably too much air. just leave the bleeders open for a little while (day or more), then try again. i had the same problem with the rear calipers on my 86 when i replaced the hoses and calipers. i just left them open a day or two, then went back at it, and it worked fine

most brake systems should gravity bleed themselves within a few minutes(just open bleeder screws) however if something like internally collapsed flexible brake lines are plugged or collapsed this will not happen. this will also cause brakes to lock up and stay that way if conditions are right. especially with a car this age id certainly be suspect of the hard and soft lines from the master cyl to the wheels kurt

Ditto on the hoses. My 97 F-150 did the same thing but changing the hoses fixed it.
