Audible clicking noise when accelerating hard from a stop
When I apply heavy throttle from a standstill, I am getting a loud clicking noise that seems to be coming from underneath the passenger seat. Usually there's around 3 clicks. It is a lot more apparent when I'm turning left. It doesn't occur during "normal" driving conditions, but, like I said, when I get a little happy with the gas I can hear it, and if someone were to sit in my passenger seat they would be able to feel it. This is probably not the best description, but it's what I've got... anyone encounter similar problems or have any idea what this could be?
I'm guessing it's a tranny mount problem; another textbook example of someone posting their problem without searching for similar ones first, lol, sorry

While you are checking your trany mount check you motor mounts. If the engine is moving around more then it should the exhaust could be hitting something. With out hearing the sound it is really tuff to tell. I have had people try to explain sounds over the phone for 10 minutes with no luck. They would bring their car over and I knew what it was as soon as I heard it.
If it were an exhaust leak there would be more than 3 or so clicks, it would continue as long as the motor was under a reletively heavy load. I agree with the OP, probably a tranny or motor mount.
