Clicking Noise...
I was doing stuff to my wires for the light switch and something popped. Now my interior lights dont work. I checked my fuses and there all fine. There now is a ticking noise b/c of that on the passenger side near the airbag. Can it be a relay? If so where can I find it?
On modern cars the BCM controls just about everything except for the power train & brakes.
If you blew it up, you have to replace it.
Always disconnect the Negative battery cable before working on electrical stuff.
Here is what the BCM does:
The body control module plays a part in every sub-system on the vehicle, from engine starting through keyless entry, lighting and retained accessory power.[*]Seat Belt System[*]Interior Lighting[*]Power Door Locks[*]Keyless Entry System[*]Vehicle Theft Deterrent (VTD)[*]Content Theft Deterrent (CTD)[*]Retained Accessory Power (RAP)[*]Luggage Compartment[*]Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)[*]Audible Warnings
