Default aftermarket gauge hook up

i got some new auto meter gagues (small tach, fuel level gauge, and the oil, water temp, and voltage trio). the oil pressure gauge came with a cylinder dealy to measure the oil pressure. im wondering, can i just use the oem in there, and cut and run a new wire to it? also, how do i wire up the other ones? i will look at the scematics in the manual as for which wire to cut and run, but is that all i have to do? i also wanted to make sure that i had the right sending unit. the one for water temp is under the throttle body and requires the intake rubber parts to be taken off to get into, right? ill take a picture tomarrow just to double check.

also, are there any openings that i can access from behind the fuse box area to run wires through?

i checked with the manual, and the wires between the sender and gauge for fuelis pink, oil is tan, and temp is dark green. these should be the wires that i cut and run to my new gauges, right? im also going to call autometer tomarrow to double check that the gauge works with the oem senders for temp and oil pressure.

Yes those wire colors if my memory is correct sond like the right ones to hook to the signal on the gauges. I used the OEM senders for temp and pressure on my 84 Camaro with autometer and the seemed to be accurate. And volts you just pick up anywhere. Should be a wire that is not used for other items though like a light. It would be draw juice and may give an inaccurate reading.

i got the temp gauge and volts hooked up. autometer said to use their senders, however i will try just running a wire from the stock oil pressure sender. so far, there are no issues. i made a setup that the power and ground feeds into the water temp, and goes from that to the volts and oil pressure. hopefully the unit will work with the stock one because i dont want to have to lose all that oil putting in the sending unit. i also still have the gas gauge to do as well

also, any ideas one what to use to fill the void left by the old gauges?

You should have bought my gauge cluster when I had it
You should not loose a lot of oil if you swap sender but did you happen to mention to autometer that your sender has three wires and is needed for the fuel pump also? They might not of thought of that.

The panel is from covans classics. I think you can also get them from Summit
