they went out and when you put a fuse in it blows.

 

That means there is a short to ground. You really need a wiring diagram to try to break down the problem. Or, put in a 40 AMP fuse and follow the smoke trail, but make sure you have a fire extinguisher or a garden hose handy. LOL

 

well i took most of the dash apart ,cluster out and found that whoever put a cd player in it was a dee-dee-dee. had a bunch of bare wires . fixed them up and the gauge lights work .
