69 front disc lf locks up
Ever since I have this car (3yrs) and have re-restored this car almost entirely the RF disc brake locks up. I 1st removed the additional distribution valve someone added when they installed the new power front discs and that worked somewhat better. I have taken everything apart and if I press more then just a bit the RF locks right up. I just changed out the LF front brake hose, bleed the system and the RF still locks up easily. Any ideas? Follow the brake lines - both front lines should be opposite of each other at the distribution block.
Maybe rent a brake pressure gauge and sub it in place of the bleeder.
Put a bathroom scale on the pedal and apply the same foot pedal and compare both sides.

You may have changed the wrong hose. When brake hose fails they tend to hold pressure in the caliper. This heats up the pads and rotor. As soon as you add pressure from braking the wheel will just lock up. Also I normally change hoses in pairs.
As everett said If it is not the hose then my next step would be a pressure gage. You need to know if you are getting the same pressure as this issue could be hydraulic or mechanical.

changed out both hoses and bleed. right side locks up. Removed calipers blew out pistons checked for problems and put right side pads on left and left side on right bleed out system, right side still locks up. Right now everything is new except the distribution block and that's coming tomorrow. Hopefully that will solve the problem but I have my doubts! Jim

Today I changed out the distribution block and bleed system and the right side still locks up. I ran new temporary brake lines to the calipers to make sure the old lines were not blocked, right side still locks up? I did notice the calipers look the same but are not the same. One is GM the other has no markings? I am going to order a new matched set from "Ground up" complete with new pads as its the only thing not changed! Jim

RF Brake prob solved
This is a 6 year old thread I never finished. After changing every single brake component and the right wheel continuing to lack up I decided to install and adjustable pressure valve to the right wheel. I did that 6 years ago and to date its been perfect every since. After speaking to everyone in the know we all came to the conclusion its the cheap *** Chinese parts. Noting they make is exactly the same. I posed this same info back in 2016 on the Camaro restoration site and to date it has received over 50,000 hits. Ill see if I have a picture to post here. Tkx
