Default 88 camaro braking problem, pulls left

I really need some advice on this 88 Camaro v6. Vehicle sat for over three years without running before I acquired it. Problem is that it pull to the left when applying moderate to heavy braking (emergency stops). It brakes straight when braking lightly just to slow down the vehicle. I know your going to say it's gotta be the right front caliper. Well, I replaced both front calipers and problem is the same. I disassembled the old ones and found a little crud but piston moved freely. I replaced them anyway. I replaced pads and resurfaced rotors, same thing. I inspected the master, bore is smooth, pistons and springs move freely, cups in good condition. I even took apart the proportioning valve, all valve move freely and ports are not plugged. Piston is in the centered position and brake lite is NOT on. I've bleed the entire system four times. Still pulls to the left. BUT GET THIS...it only pulls on your first peddle push. If you release it a little but not completely take your foot off and apply it again the car BRAKES STRAIGHT????. I don't have access to a brake pressure tester. I'd like your opinion before I take it to a brake specialist. I thought maybe the right line was crushed because it runs between the xmember and eng. oil pan but its fine. I'm wondering if the right front brake hose could be restricted but flows ok when bleeding. I even thought maybe its a front end related problem where the frame is flexing, I could not find any loose parts. I even replaced the lower control arm bushings but problem did not go away. Ball joints and other steering parts seem to be tight. Sorry for the long expl but thanks for any replies.

If you have the original rubber brake hoses that is your problem. They may look allright and flow when bleed but can't hold pressure when braking. My opinion is replace both sides with Stainless Steel brake hoses and that will solve the problem.

Could also be that the left caliper is not retracting the pads as much as the left one when the brake is released. If this happens, the left brake will engage before the right btake. Check the rubber boot on the caliper and make sure the sliders are moving freely and lubricated. You may want to find a set of stainless steel sliders.

black z28, are you thinking maybe the hoses are ballooning out on hard stopping?

Pete, Are the sliders the steel bushings in the caliper mounting ears that the mounting bolts go thru? I checked the rubber boot lip and made sure the caliper does slide freely. I've anti-seized all sliding parts. Mounting bolts and bushings are new as supplied with the new calipers.

I'm gonna try the the brake hoses next. I'm gonna even try to swap the lines from the Porp/valve from left to right to see if that might make a difference.

Thank you very much for your input guys.

I would put my money on the brake hoses. Hard stopping is collapsing the hose and retricting the Fluid.
Just the opposite of ballooning out.

blackz87, you were right on the money. It was the brake hose like you said. Thank you so much. I could not find SS lines locally and this is my daily driver now so I opt. for some NAPA ones. They were only $14 ea. side. I only wish I posted this earlier and would have saved some $$$ for my much needed struts. Thanks again to both of you.
