69 Floor pan
does anyone know how heavy the entire floor pan is on a 69 camaro, also what material its made of? I was thinking i could save some weight (if it's steel) by remaking it with aluminum, which is 1/3 the weight

it's steel but remaking it with aluminum reduces the strength it imparts.....by the time you pull and reinforce the area to swap it to aluminum you will end up adding weight.
if you want to lower the weight on the camaro....remove the trunk pan and replace it with aluminum and replace the entire front clip with a fiberglass one.
