1996 camaro ss power window problem

Default 1996 camaro ss power window problem

drivers side window frozen...switch when depressed is making power windowcontrol module make a funny noise tried to change power window module. but it kept making the same noise....passenger window ok i guess not on the same wiring scheme...need help.......

Maybe the motor is froze

[X(] without gettin into the wiring schematics id have to guess you have a bad motor causing the module(circuit breaker or relay) to trip and create the noise your hearing. do you have the mad skills to enable you to jumper the motor itself to see if it is even working thus bypassing all the other circuitry to eliminate the motor itself as the problem kurt

i could, but i didn't want to pull the door panel. i guess i'll have too.

[X(] there may be a connector at the kick panel or at the module which may give access to the motor wires after the other components but i dont know for sure on that model as i have yet to get into it that far(i got manual windows).. if you have a local junkyard maybe go take a peek at a similar year this way you can cause carnage to find your answers before breakin into your own. ill take a look at the schematics i have for my 95 and see if i come up with anything that helps kurt

just connect the b harness into the tak and run new leads to the speed reducer sensor and in the 09 it would be nice not to have power antena's also with or without the b harness.

p.s. we need to run up to wallie world and buy some eletrickal tape to wire in the *** so everything is a go on the power switch.....
