Default Power Window Problem

The other day I rolled my driver side window down and it went almost all the way down then stopped and sounded like the motor was bound up. I rolled it up some then back down and samething happened. I rolled it all the way up and then when i rolled it down it moved about an inch then stopped and made noise. Rolled it back up and now it won't move at all but still has the same sound. Any idea what it could be?

Best thing to do is take the door panel off and see if you can determine what is actually making the noise. Could be the drive gears on the motor, the window rail, the motor itself or something caught in the track.

Took panel off and didn't see anything so I guess its the motor. Just went ahead and got another one.
