Im trying to put a 1968 350 from a 1 ton pick up, in my 1992 camaro rs . I want to make it carb motor how is the easy way to do the wireing. I had someone tell me i cant use the same wireing because the ignition has the chip in the key . I only want a alternator and a power steering pump that is it. Can i use the same dist. I was wondering if there is a easy way to wire it if I am not useing all that other stuff. please help this is my first time working on a car like this, cant afford to have someone else do it. thanks guys

 

I would suggest taking the car to someone who knows wiring. Better to be safe than sorry. It's really not that hard but if you've never done it you can easily fry some wiring.
