Hey everybody i bought an 1992 rs camaro and my back trunk latch is broken i was wondering if anybody had this spare or a part out camaro i could get this from!! thanks Looking to get this fixed before i leave to boot camp in april !

Cool , thanks man.... yeah parts for the 92 rs suck *** it has to be super specific cause i tried to get the latch from a 91 about 2 days ago and it wasnt even close to fitting....

 

Actually i just checked out the latch bro it doesnt look like the one i have??

 

My latch for the trunk is broken every time i go to a web site and they say its compatible with my car the latch bolts dont line up right and looks nothin like the latch i have now .... is it just my car or are 92 rs trunk latches the hardest thing to fine on this planet!!!! Please help with any tips.... ORRAAHHHH

 

if you have a power hatch release, they are unique to 92 Rs's and Z28's
they are difficult (but not impossible} to find, but are pricy when you do
i found mine on e-bay

 

Dam, how much did you pay? i think i saw one on ebay for 100.00 bucks and i was like dam is that seriously the cheapest ima get it?!!?!?

 

i actuall paid $125 for mine and have seen em go for as much as $250
