im looking at buying a used rear end with a posi unit and 3.73 gear, in a 10 bolt rear end, well this work in my 86? or will the internals work in my stock rear end, is a 10 bolt stock or is it a 12 bolt?? whats this rear end worth??. oh yeah it comes with 26 spline axels.

 

Yes it will swap over. It is a 10-bolt and if it is a 3:73 it would be worth about $100 Max. This swap is not much of upgrade in my opinion with the poor brakes and possible wore out Limited slip and 26 spline axle shafts.

 

see this is what i was wondering if it would be worth it, well the guy wants a 150 bucks for it so idk if i want it i gotta get it by tomorrow so the more oppions the better. thanks guys
