02 SS Rear seat speakers don't make much sound
I have an 02 SS with the monsoon system, the speakers in the rear seat area do not make much sound. I wired in some brand new speakers and they do the same thing. Are these speakers meant to be like a sub woofers only or what? If so, they are very unimpressive. Please help out if you know.
Thanks,
Randy

No, they aren't subwoofers and they were pretty impressive on ours originally (to be frank they have sort of gone that way of trashed since they were in the locaton where the rollcage pipes had to connect. We tried to move them but it didn't work.
I don't know what to recommend here. I assume you've played with the controls and tried to bias more fade to the rear, etc. Your amplifier might have a blown final amp section but its hard to believe it would be in both channels.
Sorry I'm not an expert on this stuff but I just don't know (and me, an electrical engineer, too)

I did try the fwd / rear bias. They just don't seem to do much more than a bit of bump, bump, bump! The sound however doesn't seem as good with them completly disconnected though. I can't e believe these speakers would be meant to emit such a small sound. Thanks for the reply.
