Default Weighing In?

I have a 79 Camaro that I've put together for Bracket Racing. I stripped her down as much as possible. I still think she's as heavy as a Tank. The doors are just brick walls. I'm guessing w/o driver I'm at about 3400lbs. Still, that's heavy compared to other rides. Does anyone have any ideas on shedding weight on 2nd gens?

3400 is not all that bad. What kind of set up are you running?

Default 79 Camaro's Setup

Fiberglass hood with interior gutted except for 2 racing seats. Inner front fender wells removed, fuel cell replaced with race cell. Weld rims with ET Streets, Roll Cage and Sub Frame connectors. Haven't found anything in the Doors to remove. Front Bumper gutted. W/O being on a scale, I'm guessing about 3400?
