which would win in the 1/4?? my 3.1 RS or the turbo coupe?

 

Is it the 2.3 SVO? The SVO comes off the line at something like 160 HP not to bad for a 20 year old 4 banger. They mod easy and like most turbo cars gain a good amount of power by adding exhaust work and turning up the boost. It is a heavy car but the turbo does pull well at top end. It could make for a good race depending on what you and him both have done.

 

it's just a regular 2.3 turbo 4 banger. bone stock for both cars

 

I had an '88 turbo 2.3 liter four T-Bird (bought new in late '87). 200 HP and a 5-speed stock. Nice car but not a lot of low end torque -- still pretty fast for '88. It would do 60 in just at 8 seconds and 1/4 in the high 80s trap speed. Don't remember the ET.
