i would say softer to let the weight transfer to the rear for more traction...but not to soft..

I'm still fairly new at learning everything.. but in order to do that do you make your front suspension stiffer and your rear suspension softer?

Not sure what kind of mods you are running but to be truthfull you should not need to change them out unless they are just trashed. It will make very and i mean very little diffrence.

you running soft or hard tires? hard or soft shocks? i trimmed my wells up a bit because mine launches pretty hard. im running moderately stiff rear, loose fronts, dropped it down 2 in the front aswell, rear is stock height.

you want it stiffer in the rear and softer upfront.if you hav the right suspension and tires you should be able to set the rears at 7-8 and the fronts at 1-2 but if you dont have the suspension in the rear set up right your gonna want to hav it more at 6-7. i didnt hav drag radials and the right setting for me was at 6. you'll hav to play with it and figure it out though. you may hav the suspension/tire but the track not be there or u may not hav the right tire or suspension and the track be hookin. just play wit them start off at 6 id say

Thanks for the replys,

i went to the track and run my personal best 13.25 @105 mph

before on this track i ran 13.6 @ 101 mph ( cat back exhaust, slp intake, cut out under filter, throttle body by-pass)

since then i have full new suspension cause car handles like trash on stock, got umi LCA, brackets, adj. panhard , front strut brace, eiback pro kit (1.2") drop, KYB AGX adj shocks and put in slp smooth intake bellow and k an N filter.

I had front at 5 rears at 6 set up for nice street handelling, with this i ran my best time, changing the shocks to 7 on rear made little difference really, still doing same time so this prob isnt the biggest factor. i didnt adj front as car is low and have 18" rims with 255/35 r 18 falkens on so not the best drag tires but pretty sticky.

Anyways at least the mods have made some positive impact and shifts seem to transfere more power to wheels rather than lunging around as before.
