launch
basically i know most of the people who driven 3.8 like mine arent launching em anyway but while its no lt1 or ls1 i have fun with mine in the past ive been launching at about 1500 RPM im wondering be better to keep doing it from there or try and push it if i get much over 2000 Rpms with the breaks on my tires start to spin and burn out so ya
when i was on my old crappy tires i could push it to about 2500. but after launch it would fishtail really bad. with my new tires and some practice she lunches very well. what size tires are you running? I have 245/50-16 and they do a pretty good job.

I guess the key is practice. Find a deserted street back somwhere near you live. (make sure its a strait line and you can see behind u & infront of you all the way down the street) Then just try launching her at 2K. If it hooks good, go up to 3K. If it spins to much go down to 2500...etc
I don't how you all get that much tire spin. My back tires have maybe 1/4 tread left on them and no matter where I launch from 0rpm or 2000rpm, I get little to no tire spin. My car's not running like it did but I never got that much spin. Weird.
