It went 8.9 in the 1/8th that same night, but I missed a gear up top so it was a bad slip.

 

Steve I guess I'm just gonna have to settle for 2nd =( Buying a new place soon =) So it'll be worth it ha.

 

so where has this build a car gone to?i read thru the whole build thread to only see a 14.1 and then the progress stops?please update me on this man i allways love to see how a build turns up and are you on the pill yet or what?

 

It stopped because of winter, track is still closed right now. It opens on March 5th again, got some work done to it, gonna try to see how far it'll go into the 13's before the slicks kill my clutch, or 10-bolt. Something should break, we'll see what does. Either way, I'll be tearing it down when I get the slip I want, and start changing the motor a bit, starting with better headgaskets to hold up to some boost. Then it's off to the 12's under said boost.
