Default camaro with a built 402?

does anybody in here have a 70ish camaro with a built 402, and if so, how does it do on the street. Mine will have a 2800 stall also. Just curious how it would be.

What type of 402?
- A bored 396 (big block): nice, robust motor in my experience
- A small block -- one of the siamesed cylinder castings ones, a slighlty bored light duty 70s small block 400? Generally these are not a good basis for a heavy duty engine
- A modern aftermarket LT1-ish motor from a third party supplier? Could be a good one, but . . . depends on who
And I've seen a couple of aluminum stroker LS2 or 3s that are near 401 +/- an inch or so - great engine!

It is an actual 402 BB that is bored .30 over with chambered 427 heads. I will have more info on sun when I get the car. The guy has $15000 in reciepts that he has put into the whole car.

Well, it's a BB so it'll have more torque than you can imagine. And as long as it's not cammed like an all out drag car, driving on the street should be fun. Just watch out for that torque...it'll sneak up on ya.
