Default year one crate engine

hey just wondering if this year one engine http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/f...ain2.asp?cat=G would be a good engine for my 86 2.8l berlinetta it seems to be a really good deal under $3000 for a 400+ hp engine.thanks alot. also would i need subframe connectors if I got this engine? if so where would be the best place to get them . thanks one more thing, what kind of tranny would you all put behind it? and sorry for all the newbie questions!

That create motor sounds like a good deal. I got my bolt on subframe conectors from jegs, they ran me about 190 dollars. Good luck on building your car.

dude i just spotted that engine the other day too, SICK deal, im definately dropping that in my car without a doubt

But isnt that a short block, You will still need heads, intake, carb...

Where Im from you 87-91 thats it.
That sucks because Im just going to have to get the more expensive powerplant after all.
