What fuel injectors should I use?
Okay so I'm biting the bullet and I'm going to get a donor motor and rebuild it while I use the motor I have now as my daily driver. This will be a gradual build being that I am a full time college student. Here's my plan:
Upgrade the valve train (1.6 ratio roller rockers, pushrods, lifters, valve springs)
Upgrade the cam (260/260 duration with a .440/.440 lift)
New timing set
Port and polish the heads and intake.
Replace the crankshaft, and main/rod bearings
Replace the piston rings
Stage 2 racing clutch while I'm at it
Headers while I'm at it
Larger injectors and maybe a larger fuel pump
Here's the deal. I know that my #16 injectors will only support 160hp. Obviously I'll be making quite a bit more than that with all the work that will be done to my motor. What size injectors should I use and do I need to replace my fuel pump? Could use injectors out of a LT1 Z28 or would those be too much? Also do I need to replace my stock FPR with an adjustable FPR? Help would be greatly appreciated.
