Default Throttle Body

This may be a stupid question can you install an Lt1 throttle body on a 3.4 v-6? Does it matter if it is a v-6 or a v-8? Also are there any engine problems with doing this upgrade?

No you cannot use an LT1 TB on a 3.4 V6, they have different intake manifolds. Technically I suppose anything is possible if you have enough time and money, but I don't know why you would put all that into an LT1 TB. That said, you're probably not going to get any gain out of upgrading your TB, if all you have is an aftermarket exhaust and CD player I would recommend looking into other bolt-ons such as a Cold Air intake.

I was going to do the throttle body upgrade after i put cold air intake, headers, and new cams into it. If that won't work what would you suggest for an upgraded TB

I just wrote a big paragraph about this, and it had the nerve to say it was too short. Long story short, you have ONE cam, not cams, and you can adapt your intake manifold to accept an LT1 throttle body, though it takes alot more work and knowhow, than I believe you have at this moment. I would stick with just getting your current TB ported and polished, as there are no aftermarket ones available.
