I have a 1998 Camaro Z-28. There was a 1999 Corvette LS1 engine put in it. It just started Rod Knocking and the mechanic said the engine is blown now. I don't have much money to buy a new engine. I just bought the car less than a year ago so I really don't want to junk it either. What is the cheapest way to get it started running again???? does anyone know where i could get a cheap LS1-LS6 engine?????? please reply

 

For "cheap?", try a junk yard. Some yards will even install it and give you a warranty. Otherwise try rebuilding it, but it will cost about the same as bying a remanufactured engine.
