Default Ignition Box

I was wondering if I got a super charger with Nitrous, what kind of ignition box would I need. Would the vaccum advance be enough to counter the super charger and then get the spark retarder for the Nitrous part. That is IF I go with that set up. Then how would that wire in? As of right now I have a standard HEI distributor.

The supercharger will require less spark advance than a stock engine, especially at high boost, as well as the nitrus. What you need is something that will provide two different advance settings, one when just using the superghrger, and one for the combination of supercharger and nitrous. You could use an MSD ignition box with an add on MSD multiple timing control, set up one curve for blower use only, and a second one to use when the nitrous is used. Talk to the people at MSD and they will advise on what you need.
