well ive got some black engine enamel spray. would that work?

 

Na it will just flake off, you'll need the dupli color high heat stuff,1000 deg. works good, if you let it dry a few days before you crank it up. If you cant find it in black,then spray them with the other color then hit them with the black engine spray,it should stick to it. I would use the black heat wrap if you have the extra money for it.

 

What carb and iginition are you going to run?

 

The Carb is an Edelbrock 750 CFM Electric choke and I have yet to decide on ignition...

The Edelbrock 750 is a good choice.

The MSD HEI kits are very good in my book.( I run one on the camaro and one on my c-10)..you might want to consider using the kit with the rev limiter...

Should run very well.

What tranny are you running?

I'm gonna be running a TH-350 with a Racing/Shift kit, the works. I dont know all the specs right off the back of my hand. Icalled and talked with the guys at the shop about it briefly butI'm gonna go to the shop this friday and talk with them about it. I'll let you guys know more as soon as I do

 

Built t-350 should work well...just put a gauge on it and keep it cool..
